Chrome’s Address Bar
Google, an American multinational tech giant is in news for its new updates. The Address bar is upgraded with five new features for better user experience.
Further, the new update is designed with auto complete feature on both web and mobile. Furthermore, the new update includes automatic typo correction, auto complete accuracy, and ability to detect complete URLs based on keywords. In addition, users can also search in address bar popular websites based on entered keywords and search for bookmarks within bookmark folders.
Five new updates
The tech giant announced new features for Chrome designed specifically to make browsing faster and more efficient for users. The list includes five new features.
Auto complete URL
Initially, Chrome used to detect URLs only if user have typed them correctly. However, now with autocomplete feature, Chrome will detect URLs and autocomplete it in the suggestions based on the keywords users have used before.
Automatic Typo correction
The new address bar also includes auto typo correction feature. Further, Chrome will detect the misspelled words in the URL and suggests auto corrected in drop down. Additionally, the feature will be available on the Android, iOS, desktop versions of the Chrome.
Suggests popular websites
While users have earlier visited the website URLs or not, Chrome new address bar will suggest users popular websites based on the keywords entered in it.
Bookmark search Feature
Chrome brings another feature allowing users to search bookmark within the folders by simply typing bookmark folder name in the address bar.
Visual overhaul
Chrome web browser with visual layout feature makes it easier to read. In addition, with this feature it has become more responsive and effective. However, the update is expected to unveil with Chrome 118 update.
