Google has introduced a new AI feature in Generative AI search experience. This search experience will provide users with special information on what they are browsing.

Like Microsoft, Google has started integrating generative AI across all services. Further, users can summarize entire article they are reading. Furthermore, the feature allow users to get key points on articles they are searching or browsing in the Google search bar.
Google’s search generative experience (SGE) will save both time and effort of users for searching information. In addition, SGE aims at analyzing and navigating information to users faster and more precise.
Moreover, Google in a blog post wrote, “SGE while browsing” was specifically designed to help people more deeply engage with long-form content from publishers and creators, and make it easier to find what you’re looking for while browsing the web.”
Further, the company added, “On some web pages you visit, you can tap to see an AI-generated list of the key points an article covers, with links that will take you straight to what you’re looking for directly on the page. We will also help you dig deeper with “Explore on page,” where you can see questions the article answers and jump to the relevant section to learn more.”
Additionally, the company claims that the new feature will be at hand for users in learning complex things. Apart from this, the feature will also be useful in terms of big researches.
However, as per company the SGE will only work on articles that are available free on internet.
How to use the new SGE feature?
The SGE while browsing has the ability to generate key point from the article after you click on the icon placed at the bottom of the screen.
Availability
As per reports, the feature has been rolled out as an early experiment. However, the feature will be available gradually to all users who have signed up for the search labs program. Besides, the feature will be available on Android, iOS and on desktop via Google Chrome browser in early days.
Other SGE Features
In addition, Google has also made some other changes in SGE. Likewise, Google has added a new hover feature that lets users hover over any word from the search or article to get definitions, diagrams and other details to help it understand better.
