Apple introduces economical new Pencil with Hidden USB-C charging

Apple has launched an affordable Apple pencil with USB-C connectivity for iPads users. Further, the new pencil is moderately priced at $79 and supports hover mode on iPad Pro.

The titanic business organization on Tuesday launched a new Apple pencil as an alternative to company’s second-generation model. Further, the new stylus is compatible as it can be magnetically attached with 10th generation iPad as well as other iPad models, namely, iPad mini, iPad Pro, and iPad Air.

However, the device does not support wireless charging and some other features found in Apple second generation Pencil.

Design: It has a matte finish and a flat side that can be magnetically attached to the side of the iPad for storage.

Charging and Pairing: The new stylus pairs and charges with a USB-C cable. A sliding cap reveals a USB-C port, enabling customers to use a USB-C cable to connect to the new gadget for pairing and charging.

Compatibility: It works with all iPad models that have a USB-C port.

Performance: The device offers advanced pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. It works great with iPadOS features like Scribble, Quick Note, and when collaborating with others in Freeform. When used with M2 models of iPad Pro, the stylus supports hover, allowing users to sketch and illustrate with even greater precision.

Additionally, the new stylus is ideal for note-taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more.

Price and Availability

In the U.S., it costs $79 for the general public and $69 for students. Further, the gadget in India is priced at Rs. 7,990 and students can purchase it at Rs. 6,990. However, in comparison the stylus is cheaper than both the Apple Pencil (1st generation), which is priced at Rs. 9,500 in India, and the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) which costs Rs. 11,900.

Further, the device will be available to all from November.
