HCL Technologies new collaboration with Amazon web services

HCL join hands with AWS services to adapt Generative AI Technology in the Enterprise

The Indian-based tech firm HCL, announced a collaboration with cloud services, Amazon AWS services. The reason for collaboration is the adaption of generative AI technology at the enterprise.

Collaboration with AWS

 The collaboration aims to empower the enterprises to leverage the power of AWS advanced Generative AI portfolio which includes Amazon Code Whisperer, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Titan, AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia.

Further, the company plans to use Amazon Code Whisperer with their engineers and developers to develop secure applications. Furthermore, the company intends to work with cloud practitioners on AI based applications for clients.

Moreover, the collaboration aims to establish a shared commitment towards industry solutions using AI advancements.

Prabhakar Appana, Senior Vice President and Head of AWS Ecosystem Business Unit at HCLTech, said, “GenAI is a powerful technology that has the potential to revolutionise industries. By collaborating with AWS, we bring to our clients the latest GenAI capabilities to accelerate innovation and establish a robust global AI economy.”

HCL Integrates AI

HCL integrates AI with cloud platforms for mass applications storage and migration. Further, earlier this year, HCL Tech developed Ziva on AWS, an AI bot for the financial services industry. Similarly, the company has also been recognized as machine learning powered launch partner.

However, in June 2023, HCL Tech announced to collaborate with Google cloud to develop joint solutions using generative AI technology. Likewise, the company also announced to collaborate with Microsoft Azure.

As per reports, during the Q1FY24, the company restate interest in generative AI. In addition, the company is holding 70 projects in the pipeline in different stages from proof of concept to implementation. Further, the company plans to enfold various fields such as education, product engineering, operations and software products.

Apart from this, the tech giant is training about 20,000 employees on generative AI technologies.
