As expected Apple’s new iOS is expected to be rolled out at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), next month. However, details of the upcoming operating system began to leak.
Moreover, leaksters and analysers have been sharing their mock-ups to provide glimpses of what iOS 17 may hold. However, one such leak by a Twitter handler @analyst941 has created a buzz among all. Recently, the leaker has suggested that the Wallet and Health apps will receive a redesign.
Apart from this, the leaker has shared some mock-ups too portraying the design alterations.
Wallet App changes
The tipster’s mock-up for Wallet app shows fewer but precise changes. Meanwhile, the payment app is available in some countries but not in India. According to the tipster, the iOS 17 update will add the ability swipe down anywhere in the Wallet app to search for cards, passes, and other information.
Additionally, there is a ‘Transactions’ button. Furthermore, the Wallet app shows to get a new tab layout at the bottom navigation bar. While, the Apple cash is expected to get its own tab.
Health App Changes
As per tipster @analyst941, in Health app its ‘Favorites’ section under summary will undergo a redesigning. This redesign will feature a card style interface. Additionally, as per the shared information the data will include colored graphs, tables and much more.
However, the health app currently has a single-column interface for the same tab, showing text values for a user’s step count, time spent in bed and medications.
Official Announcement
Besides, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed that the Wallet app is “indeed getting a revamp.” He further stated that whether these changes will be implemented or not can only be predicted after the official announcement by the company. This is likely to take place at WWDC keynote on June 5.
