Spotify is recently appealing because of its access to content for free just by signing up with email address or facebook account. If you are not intended on monthly subscription for Spotify Premium, and just want to test it out, then you are free to go without any commitment.
Spotify Mini Subscription Plan
Spotify has recently launched a new premium mini plan for users to stream music ad free just for Rs 2 per week.
As this seems to be a simple and carefree deal, there is a catch. The deal is only for those who complete the Spotify challenge.
The digital music service has also launched a new feature called Spotify challenges.
Those who complete the challenges will get a reward of seven-day Spotify premium subscription for just Rs 2 per week.
What is the challenge and how to get the premium mini plan?
As starters, one must at first use the digital service for 6 days in the upcoming 30 days to get the premium subscription plan for just Rs 2.
This can be done by getting six one-day subscriptions (Rs 7×6) by spending Rs 42. Similarly, one can also buy a weekly premium mini subscription plan of Rs 25. Further, the company will reduce the price of the next week’s premium mini subscription charge to Rs 2.
The users that have been using the free tier service for long are likely to get 3 month subscription for free. Again, for getting the same, users have to confirm the payment method (UPI, credit, or debit card). Afterwards, they can cancel their subscription at the end of 3 months.
Official Announcement
Today, at the Twitter handler, a company official made an announcement. It stated about the reward program being launched and rolled out first in India, the premium plan: Premium Mini.
Spotify Subscription plans in India
Apart from this premium mini plan that cost Rs 7 and Rs 25 in India , there are other plans as well. Users can get Spotify Premium for Rs 117 per month. Similarly, there is a duo subscription pack that costs Rs 149. Unlike, Individual plan there is a family pack available for Rs 179 that can be shared with upto 6 people.
Lastly, there is a subscription plan for students as well. If you are a student, the subscription is available for just Rs 66 per month.
To conclude, all the premium plans allow users to download upto 10K songs. A user can use one account on 4 different gadgets including, laptops, smartphones, tablets and smart TV’s.
