Group Conversations: WhatsApp for Windows users can now make group voice and video calls with up to 32 people
WhatsApp has launched a new feature for Window users for group conversations. The feature is exclusive for Windows as users can make group voice calls and video calls with more people.
As per reports, the new version for Windows loads faster and is built with an interface familiar to WhatsApp and Window users.
The new WhatsApp for Windows let users enjoy group voice calls with up to 32 people and more. Similarly, for group video calls, you can add up to 8 people. The messaging app made the announcement in their blog post.
How to do it?
To use this emerging feature, users first of all need to update their WhatsApp desktop app with the latest version on Windows.
Further, they need to initiate the group voice call by just clicking on the group call icon located in the top right corner of the screen. They can then select the participants they wish to include in the call and start the conversation.
WhatsApp says that it will increase these limits over the period of time so that users can add more people to group calls in the chat app.
However, WhatsApp on mobile app for Android and iOS users allow users to add participants for voice and video calls at one time.
Notably, the new feature is expected to enhance the communication experience of Window users. Finally, letting them enjoy group conversations with multiple people at once.
