Hyundai, on Tuesday evening was seen unveiling its flagship EV, Ioniq 5 in Mumbai in front of Gateway of India. Equally important, the company is likely to unveil Hyundai Ioniq 5 specs too.

The Korean auto giant, Hyundai Ioniq5 in India has not revealed the launch date but is expected to launch at the Auto Expo along with the price tag.
Hyundai, a South-Korean based automobile company is expecting to launch their electric car Ioniq 5 EV in India.
As per reports, the three cars were positioned in front of the Gateway. Further, a power lightning show was being hosted at the Gateway indicating car moving ahead to India.
However, there is no such confirmation date revealed by the company. They are expected to launch the car at the Auto Expo in January. Furthermore, there are no news on the selling price.
Besides, the company has just announced a booking price of Rs 1,00,000 INR, with booking open from today.

Specifications
Battery– The car is expected to be equipped with either a 58kWh or a 72.6kWh battery, which will give it a range of 383km on a single charge for the former and 481km with the latter, based on the official test cycle.
Fast Charging-The Ioniq 5 brags of supporting ultra fast 800V charging, which can charge the battery from 10 percent to 80 percent in 18 minutes.
Model– The model has a length of 4,635 mm, and breadth and height of 1,890 mm and 1,625 mm, respectively.
The car is equipped with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) allows the customer to power electrical appliances up to 3.6 kW from inside & outside the vehicle. In addition, it also offers ARAI certified range of 631 km. It also comes with a pair of 12-inch screens for the instrument cluster and the touchscreen, a head-up display with augmented reality functions, and ADAS.
Designing
The designer has used viable materials like fabrics made from recycled plastic and eco-friendly leather for the upholstery. It has also used bio-paint for the crash pads, switches, steering wheels and door pads.
The Ioniq 5 is offered with 3 colour options that include, Gravity gold matte, Optic white, and Midnight black pearl.
