Apple always keeps their users updated with latest updated version of software. Recently, Apple released their latest version of iOS 16.4. This new version brings a lot of new features for users. Apart from this, this version enables data security in phones.
The version is compatible with varied models of iPhone. However, the most useful feature of this update is voice isolation.
As per company, the voice isolation tech is capable of cancelling the background noise during the call. Further, this results in better voice quality.
Earlier, company intended this feature in FaceTime calls. But for now this feature will be available in all iPhone voice calls.
Since the release of iOS 16.4 version, it is expected to experience the new feature in all regular voice calls on iPhone.
How to get the new voice isolation feature
The first and foremost thing you need to do is install the new iOS 16.4 update.
After that you will be able to see the new option available in the control centre.
Follow the following steps to enable this in calls:
Get on a voice call from your iPhone and pull the Control centre from top right
Click on the mic icon to see a drop-down menu.
Select from Standard, Voice isolation and Wide spectrum modes.
Results
Interestingly, the company claims that the feature can be accessed only when you are on a call. There is no option to tweak the modes in the main settings of the device. The standard mode gives you basic voice quality for calls and the wide spectrum is not available at the moment.
But what about the voice isolation, does it make a difference?

According to observations and usage, it is noticed that this feature plays only a minor change. Moreover, it is possible that the performance of the feature is directly linked to the network strength in your area, since you are taking a regular voice call.
However, it is expected that Apple will continue to improve the experience with future iOS versions.
