An interesting Tweet by OnePlus has just confirmed the name of its first foldable phone, OnePlus Open.

OnePlus is a Chinese electronics manufacturer that produces smartphones, digital TVs, wearables and audios. Further, the company is all set to launch its first foldable smartphone. As per reports, the company may launch the smartphone on August 29 at a launch event in New York.
Recently, the company tweeted, “We OPEN when other FOLD”, revealing the name of the smartphone. According to the tweet, the name would be, ‘OnePlus Open.’

In the images, the standout feature is a prominent circular camera module on the back, housing three camera sensors and featuring the iconic Hasselblad branding. The rear camera flash is positioned in the left corner, outside the camera island.
Another notable aspect seen in the renders is the inclusion of the popular alert slider and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.

According to the previous leaks, the smartphone will have a 6.3-inch AMOLED cover screen with FHD+ resolution. Further, the phone will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 20 MP Selfie camera. Furthermore, the foldable phone’s main screen will be a 7.8-inch LTPO AMOLED with a likely resolution of 1,900 x 2,100 and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Apart from this, the main cameras are believed to be identical to ones found in OnePlus 11.
