Adobe Firefly can now generate images supporting eight regional languages
Generative AI Model, Adobe Firefly expands globally to support 100 new languages with eight regional languages in India.

Adobe Firefly is a family of generative AI models created by Adobe for its Creative Cloud suite. The models currently focus on image and text effect generation with the aim to improve creative workflows across Adobe’s apps. It is designed to be embedded directly into creators’ workflows both in Adobe’s own applications and Google Bard. Adobe developed Firefly with its AI ethics principles of accountability, responsibility, and transparency, enabling Firefly models to be both creator-focused and safe for commercial use.
Adobe has updated its AI image generative model with new 100 languages supporting eight regional languages. Further, the eight regional languages include, Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, Malayalam, Nepali, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. Furthermore, the support enable users to generate images and text effects using their local languages in the discrete Firefly web services.
Moreover, the service will also be available in French, German, Japanese, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

According to latest report, Adobe states, “users have already generated over one billion assets on the Firefly website and in Photoshop, making these two Adobe’s most successful beta releases.”
While, the model launched in March, it’s been integrated into Photoshop, Express and Illustrator. Apart from this, Firefly can also fill spots or replace elements in the images with text prompts. Moreover, as per trained on the given input, Firefly can also generate full-blown images.
Speaking over the language support, Ely Greenfield, CTO of Digital Media at Adobe, said, “Today’s announcement is about making Firefly accessible to more people in their preferred languages, so they can continue to leverage our unique model to bring their imagination to life, and create the highest quality assets that are safe for commercial use.”
However, the latest update came nearly a month after Adobe expanded Firefly for Enterprises to let companies design “commercially safe” images. Further, the enterprise model enables businesses to custom-train Firefly with their branded assets. Further, generating content in the brand’s unique style and language.
However, Adobe is yet to expand Firefly’s generative AI capabilities of its video editing platforms. These platforms include, Premier Pro, Premier Rush, After Effects, and so on.
