YouTube TV now let users watch multiple shows on smart TVs and Devices
The multiview feature is now available for YouTube users on smart TV and devices. The feature allow users to watch four shows together on their smart TVs.

YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service that lets you watch over 70 channels from your phone, computer, or smart TV. You can also record your favorite shows with unlimited cloud DVR storage and access YouTube Originals and YouTube Music.
Some of the channels you can watch on YouTube TV include ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, CNN, TNT, FX, Disney, and more2. You can also add premium channels like HBO Max, Showtime, Starz, and NFL RedZone for an extra fee.
YouTube TV costs $64.99 per month for the base plan, which includes up to six accounts per household and three simultaneous streams. You can also get a free trial for 14 days to see if you like the service.
To sign up for YouTube TV, you need a Google account and a valid payment method. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
YouTube TV Multiview
Google owned popular video sharing platform, which has billion users and subscribers officially unveiled its multiview feature. Earlier, the feature was announced in March 2023 and was in beta testing phase. Further, the feature allow users to watch up to four streams live on a single screen. Furthermore, you can enjoy sports and shows simultaneously without switching channels.
In addition, the feature is significant for sports fans to stream multiple games simultaneously without being interrupted. Moreover, it is useful for game lovers who donot want to miss any scheduled event.
“We’ve officially launched our multiview feature for WNBA League Pass subscribers on YouTube TV & YouTube (w/ Primetime Channels). Enjoy multiview streams while watching WNBA games on smart TVs and streaming devices,” TeamYouTube tweeted.
As per Google’s support page, the Multiview feature can be accessed on Chromecast or Fire TV Stick.
How does the Feature work?
To access the feature, users can easily locate it on YouTube app on smart TVs or devices. Further, it is available under “Recommended multi views” on the Home tab and in Watch Next recommendations when watching live games.
Users can also find multi views on a Primetime Channel’s homepage where they are available, such as on National Football League (NFL) or WNBA channels.
The launch of the multiview feature comes just ahead of this fall’s NFL Sunday Ticket streams, offering viewers a more flexible way to enjoy their favourite sports content.
Moreover, after selecting the feature users can also switch audio and captions between streams. Apart from this, viewers can also jump in and out of a full-screen view of a game.
“Multiview joins our suite of features for sports fans and we’re looking forward to continuing to improve the experience and introducing it to all YouTube TV subscribers over the next several months,” YouTube said in a blog post.
