Social App Twitter’s for you page will allow only verified accounts to vote in Twitter Polls
Elon Musk and his fresh announcements always blow users mind. The CEO of social app, Elon Musk recently announced that only verified account holders will be allowed to vote in Twitter polls from April 15.

The social media company’s CEO revealed on Monday that this step will bring a surge in AI bot. The tech giant owner believes that this move will address advancement in AI technology.
Moreover, he said only verified accounts will be eligible to be in Twitter’s For You recommendations, which displays a stream of tweets from accounts on Twitter.
Earlier, Twitter has claimed to start pulling down the ‘legacy’ verified systems at the beginning of April. This clearly means that you must either be a government official, a company or Twitter blue subscriber to pop into the feeds of people who don’t follow you.
Furthermore, Musk claims the move is “the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over.” Verified users are also going to become the only accounts that can vote in polls for the “same reason,” Musk says.
Notably, the announcement may turn out to be dicey as Musk’s Tweets haven’t always turned into enforced policy or features. To exemplify, his biggest promise to share company ad revenue with blue tick subscribers. This is still lost in action as already two months have passed.
Following the same month, he also promised to open-source the company’s algorithm by March 5th, which hasn’t happened yet. However, he has made speculations about doing this on March 31st.
Musk has made such promises in the past too. Before, he made a deception of allowing only blue subscribers to vote in policy polls. However, it’s a bit of a moot point now that he’s not really doing those anymore.
