Tecno Phantom X2 5G specs: Price, Availability and key features
Chinese mobile manufacturer company, Tecno today launched their much awaited X2 series with eye catchy features and specifications.
The launched included their premium Phantom series X2 and X2 Pro in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. These two devices are companies first ever premium flagship smartphones.
Phantom X2 Specifications:
Display- The devices exhibit a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution. In addition, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Further, the display is secure and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Furthermore, the smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Also, The SoC is paired with a vapor chamber cooling system, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.
Software Front-On the software front, they boot HiOS 12.0 based on Android 12.
The phones are paired with a fairly large 5,160mAh battery of 45W fast charging.
The Tecno Phantom X2 5G offers a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP sensor and 2MP sensor.
The rear camera also features support for optical image firm technology, seventh gen IMAGIQ 790 ISP, fifth-gen AI processor APU 590 and quad flashlight.
Moreover, the smartphone is also backed by a 32MP selfie camera for video calls and selfies.

The two devices are similar in every aspect, apart from exclusive camera feature.
Tecno unveils Phantom X2 Pro with Pop-out Portrait Camera. The Pro model fetches the attention with its decorative ring around its retractable portrait lens.
The sorcery of this retractable portrait camera is that it has a 50-megapixel lens, a 65mm focal length and a large aperture of F 1.49.
While, the Phantom X2 Pro is setting goals high for other smartphones as it gives full clarity and sharpness to images. The camera creates a natural haze effect like iPhone 14.
Besides, as the name suggests, it’s a “retractable” lens, to keep the phone thin – a powered mechanism extends the lens outward when in use and retracts it afterwards.

The Tecno Phantom X2 series will retail at the following price tags in Saudi Arabia.
Tecno Phantom X2 (8GB + 256GB) – SAR 2,699: $718, INR 59,000
Tecno Phantom X2 Pro (12GB + 256GB) – SAR 3,499: $930, INR 76,700
The vanilla model comes in Stardust Grey and Moonlight Silver color options. Whereas, the Pro variant can be availed in Mars Orange (made of recycled plastic) and Stardust Grey.
More to it, the phones will be available in selected countries across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
